I have to say, I stopped watching the olympics after the 1st few ski events. It really freaked me out that those people fly down that hill so fast and can then stop on a dime, not to mention the one where they have to go over all of those bumps. Personally, I would rather still have functioning knees at age 25.

Good TV article but I have to say they marketed the hell out of Love Monkey. The week before it started all I saw were commercials for it.

Yeah, I totally blanked on Scrubs. Great, original show. Completely off-the-wall humor.

I know the crime and law shows are 'smart shows', the point I was trying to make there was just give us a little variety. I already get that stuff 24/7 on CNN and the evening news. You hit it on the head, I just want to laugh and be entertained.

Yeah, I would have to agree that their (FOX News) site sucks.

Nice essay on the tv shows, I do agree with you. You mentioned that people don't like to have to think very hard after a long days work...but they'll watch those 3 CSIs and 5 Lawyer shows anyways...it's rediculous. I think we are most missing a good comedy that people can relax and watch and actually laugh at their tv again. It's hard to find a show to laugh at. Plus you know that I think Scrubs should have been mentioned, but that's just because that's my favorite show.

-From the guy without cable who barely changes the channel from National Geographic anymore.

I would add a link for Fox News...but their website blows. Seriously, the modular design with a bunch of random boxes is so completely sloppy. Where the hell am I supposed to look? Terrible site.
